Sales and solutions engineering leader for AI-powered content and workflow automation

I build sales engineering teams that win the technical decision, then make sure what’s sold is delivered as promised. At Square 9 Softworks I lead sales engineering: my team runs about 30 proofs of concept a quarter and wins 1 in 4 of the deals it supports. I took our AI data extraction product from code to launch on Anthropic Claude and Amazon Textract, and cut demo setup from hours to 5 minutes. Before that I ran professional services for ten years, supervising 1,000+ projects and growing revenue from $1.2M to $3.5M+. Knowledge is better shared, so I grow teams by teaching, documenting and coaching.

At a glance

  • 1 in 4 deals won Win rate on the opportunities my SE team supports
  • ~30 POCs a quarter Proofs of concept my team builds and runs
  • 38% faster deployments Average deployment time cut with repeatable, packaged solutions
  • $1.2M to $3.5M+ Professional services revenue I scaled at Square 9 Softworks
  • 1,000+ projects Supervised directly and indirectly over ten years in professional services
  • 5-minute demo setup Down from hours, through automation and a demo playbook

What I bring

  • Demos and resellers

A standard way to demo, demo builds automated from hours to minutes, and a standardized program that lets national reseller organizations run their own demos.

  • Coaching and enablement

Coaching for 3 solutions engineers (up to 5 at peak), training for 2 account managers and 8 account executives, and a standard SOP that makes onboarding faster.

  • Discovery, scoping and SOWs

Discovery that surfaces the real process, data and integration needs, turned into estimates and statements of work services can deliver as written.

  • Deal strategy and risk

Pipeline visibility and pre-sales capacity planning, plus a technical advisor’s read on feasibility and risk in high-value deals.

  • Sales process and markets

Working with sales leadership on process and team design, and turning field use cases into product direction and new markets.

  • AI and packaged solutions

AI extraction taken from code to launched product, then built into packages for AP, HR onboarding, AR order processing and contracts.

  • Created and refined packages for AP Automation, HR and Onboarding, AR Order Processing and Contract Management, enabling targeted lead generation and cutting average deployment time 38%.
